    Beogram 1200

    Hello,

    this is my first post here, as I am a new b&o owner ; however, I have used my parents' beovision 1001 since 1974;

    I recently bought two beogram 1200 turntables (one doesn't switch on) and discovered that they have different belts ...!

    One has a round belt and the second is a flat and used; so what is the good one ?

    And is there a fuse preventing the turntable to be switched on ?

    Thanks

    Re: Beogram 1200

    In the end, I'm almost certain that the good belt is the round one, but I need to change it to my 2nd beogram, do you know how to do it ?

    How do I remove the platter ?

    To dismount the platter;
    Push up the center tap, grab it and pull straight up (there's a spring underneath).
    This will reveal three screws, undo these and the platter is lose.

    The round belt is the correct one.

    Thanks Martin, it was easy, but the center tap is very fragile, and can bend on mounting

    Hi there are you going to retore the beogram 1200s as I have 1200 and 1202, I am aiming to get them back to as good as as soon as I have the chance and knowledge so this post could be useful.

    Thanks
