    Another newbie subwoofer question

    Holla,

Long time listener first time caller here.  I tried searching the forums for the answer already* but didn't find it.  I just got a BS4 and I'll pick up my BL6000s this afternoon.  I was thinking of getting a subwoofer for it but the BL2 is out of my price range/overkill/not configurable enough/funny looking.  So I saw the FAQ here which sort of answers my question but what I can't figure out is *where* to get a Powerlink-->RCA cable.  This surely isn't something that the standard store sells is it?  Do B&O stores carry them?

Your dealer can certainly get one for you. I would suggest this is the best route as he can also probably advise if the sub-woofer you are thinking of will work. You can make your own if you want though!

I assume Peter means make your own lead rather than sub-woofer!Big Smile

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.

I got a 3rd Party Subwoofer on my BS4 that has two BL4s. It works perfectly. I went to my dealer, he told me that there are not really cables that convert from RCA to Powerlink, but that he can build one specially for me. He did it, it even was for free, and it works without any problems.

    Hi again,
Thanks for the answers.  I picked up my BL6000s today (wow, good stuff!) and asked my dealer about the cable.  He said they usually carry them but it'll be another week or two until they get them in.  No hurry.  Good to know the options though!
