Ive had it with my serene

After thinking about it for more than 6 months now, I'm finally going to go complain about my serene. It doesnt show missed/recieved/dialed numbers, it deletes my saved sms messages, numbers in the phonebook dissapear, it shuts down randomly, it completely freezes for 5 min at a time randomly and sometime it even refuses to disconnect from the person im talking to, no matter how many times i push the button.

So i transfered all my photos and stuff to my computer using the bluetooth. And now i wonder if there is some way to either send the whole phonebook to the computer or maybe copy all the numbers at once to the sim card? copying the numbers one at a time will take forever...

Do you think I should just bring the phone or should I bring the whole box with everything in it down to the store?

thanks for any answers. oh yeah and im new here :) Hi everyone! was a member on the old board and now that fall/winter is on its way it felt perfect to get back to B&O.

    thanks again

    Hi Viktor

Not a huge fan of the Serene myself - but some people love them.

If it's only 6 months old - get it straight back to your dealer for repairs under warranty.  Seems like it needs a good blast-through with the latest software to me.

well its just over a year old, but when i got it they told me the warranty was for 2 years. I haven't dropped it, it has not been in contact wih water or anything that can hurt it according to the warranty. So its most likely a sotware problem. I'll get down there this week, just have to take an evening to copy the phonebook. If they are helpful im thinking of also getting an earset 2. is there any known issues with the earset 2? I love my earset 1 so as long as there is no serene-like problems with it christmas is coming yearly this year Big Smile

Got my Serene back from the shop about a week or two ago, have been testing it a bit and it finally seems to work as it should Big Smile I love this phone! just hope the old problems don't come back for some reason.. they told me I had a very old software so I guess the newer versision takes care of all the glitches. did i mention i love this phone Smile

a couple of days ago I was sitting outside in the sun enjoying a Davidoff and both the Beocom 4 and Serene looked so damn good lying there in the fall sun. just sat there and stared at them for a couple of minutes hehe

Now I just need to get the mms and wap functions to work by downloading something from my network provider. They don't have the Serene listed so could anyone tell me Samsungs model number for it? thanks in advance
