    beocenter 7000 turntable problem

Hi, I'm new here, but love B&O.

    I have a beomaster 2400 and a beogram 4002, and a pair of s-45's.

Just bought a beocenter 7000 wich works fine, but I have one problem. When the recordplayer starts, the arm just comes some milimeters shor of hitting the first groove of the record. I always have to help it manually and push it a little bit when it lowers. How can you adjust this?

    Thanks

    Sven

    Sven,

    Welcome to Beoworld !

    Wonderful machine.
I don't recall exactly how, but I know that the tonearm
lowering point(s) adjustment procedure can be found in
the service manual and it's fairly easy.

There is an adjusting screw which can actually be accessed either from underneath or by removing the platter. Very tricky to explain where without having one in front of me! Probably more obvious by looking at the underneath. Will need playing with till it is just right - if B&O are good, the hole underneath may be marked!! there are separate adjustments for 17 and 30cm.

Inside the red circles (circles...) there are the two  eccentric used to set the starting point.

Normally  I use to set them from above the turntable,  here is the procedure... sorry but my scanner is broken and  I need to fix....
