Speed adjustment and/or new belt for Beogram 3000

Hi all, I was wondering what advice or direction you all might be able to give me concerning my Beogram 3000 turntable.  It's the newer model of 3000 that has the sleek dust cover, automated controls, etc. and not the older 3000 that seems to be more common from what I can tell.  Lately I've noticed that the pitch of any LP I play is down about a half-step, and everything seems slower.  Naturally, I assume I may need a new belt.  Is there a good place to get those and to be sure the belt I'm getting is for the newer 3000?  Or is there an internal control somewhere I might be able to tweak to adjust the speed manually?  Also, there appears to be more noise coming from the unit lately (the motor possibly)?  Are there any handy tips or suggestions?  Thanks all!

Member Dillen can supply a new belt as can B&O dealers. I would recommend replacing the belt before meddling with the speed adjustment.

The belt is common to all B&O decks from the 3000 onwards.

Hi and welcome to Beoworld ! Yes - thumbs up

Yes, I still have a few new belts for this model range.

There are adjustments for the two speeds, reachable from underneath the Beogram but if the belt is slipping readjusting will only make matters worse.

Hello and welcome to the site. I hope you'll stick around.

I can only agree with Graham and Martin and say that the belt should certainly be the first thing to try before adjusting the speed controls. Replacing the belt will most likely bring it back up to speed ok.

It is quite possible that a worn belt could cause some noises too.

    Hope this helps.
