    Beocord V8000: worth buying?

The dealer is offering a new Beocord V8000 from the old stock for a half price (around EUR 550). I am wondering whether this is would be good buy now or a good addition to my B&O collection. Was Beocord V8000 just a rebranded third-party videorecorder, like DVD2 being a rebranded Philips? I have a non B&O videorecorder at the moment, but it obviously does not integrate that well with my Beocenter 6.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    Re: Beocord V8000: worth buying?

I Have 10 yeas old V8000 and love it. it's not like dvd2 more like hdr1/2 where B&O use there own processor and software in 3th part hardware. V8000 is the most reliable VCR B&O ever made...
