Beosystem 7000 to Beovision 7 option?

    Hi

I just ordered A BV7-32 without the Beolab, I want to connect it to my BS 7000 and use my audio speakers for the tv as well. I was thinking of connecting the speakers  to the TV and set the BM7000 to option 0 but then my Beolink 7000 would by useless. is it possible to keep the speakers to the stereo and use them for the TV without having to press first TV and the AV TV.

If speakers is of the active type you can connect them to the TV, you can not use the BL7000 for the BV7 so thats a no go. but I think BS7000 still sends the info. to BL7000 no matter the option.

I also think if you set BV7 to option 2 and BS to 1, then you press radio to the BV7 and after that you can use the BL7000 (not for vol..)

I believe Peter has a setup vaguely similar to that of what you're planning, and he has mentioned limited two-way capability when using the system. Maybe he can shed some light on it!

    Hi Søren,
If you have the speakers connected to the BM7000 then you will lose out on the surround sound.
If you connect them to the BV7 and have both in option one, and use AV then your Beolink 7000 will still be of use. It will give full display when you press Radio,AV,Radio or CD, AV, CD.
When you watch, for example Satellite, press DTV, AV, DTV then the Beolink 7000 will read Sat but the volume number will just correspond to whatever passives you have plugged into the BM7000.
In my opinion, it's worth the effort of using the AV button and still being able to enjoy your Beolink7000Smile
