Better than a Serene? possibly?

The new iPhone will probably not be released in Europe until the end of November. The US is currently in production.

Fine, but will the new Serene have some new features like a bigger front panel like the Ipod, WIFI and GPS ?

So we'd better wait for the Iphone to come ?

I wish to make a comparison between the Apple one and the B&O mobile phone to come.

What about the Nokia N95 ? I like this product very much.

Most people prefer the iPod to the BeoSound 2, so I am sure that iPhone will beat Serene, too. The big question is: Will the iPod still outrun the BeoSound 6? Will the iPhone be a better phone than the new Serene 2?

15-Year-Old Designs Butterfly Concept Cellphone 

We have seen "iPhone killers" of all shapes and sizes, but this one is a bit different because it is extremely farfetched and extremely cool on top of that. Oh, and it was designed by a 15-year-old Korean student studying in Canada.

The "Butterfly" is a slider, but it slides out horizontally, rather than vertically like most other slider phones. In fact it looks similar to the Samsung K5 we've reviewed before. The whole package is an AMOLED touchscreen and it includes all of the regulars like a camera, SD expandability and such. There is a little to no chance in hell of this ever becoming a real phone, but it is definitely interesting to see how the minds of the future cellphone designers are working. Saw that somewhere else a while ago. It does look very very cool indeed, although from a hardware point of view, I think I prefer what the iPhone has to offer...

it will come here in europe in 4th quarter. still lots of waiting.

will trade my nokia for it.

It's absolutely gorgeous .... but a bit cumbersome to use.

I believe it is expected in Europe at the end of the third quarter. It's a shame that it is still unknown which network it will be on. The device is far to big for my liking and has too many functions, but saying that I am such a sucker for Apple products I will still probably get one.

And apparently a 3g version in Jan which is what I'll be waiting for.  The only other problem I can see in Europe is what provider Apple will choose.......

Even though I am a huge Apple fan i am not too exited about the iphone. I haven't seen a single product from Apple that was built durable enough to retain it's appeal during daily use. I am pretty sure that after 4 weeks it will be scratched regardless how carefull one is. Unless they deliver it with some sort of smart protective case but I haven't seen that yet.

Well, for the moment I will stick to Nokia the time Iphone comes out.
