    serene : aftermath of christmas party - doesnt get past searching

    Sadly, after a christmas-party related incident in which my lovely wife "only slightly stepped on" her beloved serene, it now only gets as far as "searching" for a signal before repeating...and repeating....and repeating. There's no obvious physical damage, so I'm wondering if this is something that can be rebooted? or is it the end?

    Have you tried the obvious battery out/in reset ??
