    Glass Panel for BeoChord 4500

    Hello.

No, I'm not asking for a Glass Panel for my BeoChord. It fell out, but is still 100% Ok.

I just want to know, which glue to use to put it back in, without damaging anything.

    With kind regards,

    Harald Henkel

do not use glue!  Instead use a good quality double sided tape. You have to remove the plastic moldings which held the glass. That is really simpel; look at the bottom of the beocord you see a small hole marked with an arrow, stick a paperclip in it and slide the plastic trim to the left. Now you can remove the cable connectors.

Clean up those plastic trims to remove all resident clue for a better stickyness.  Because B&O used conducted paint, the height between the glass and the rubber underneath is important for a good working of the touchpanel.

If you think nobody cares, try missing a couple of payments.
