Should I go and get new BeoLab 8002 or buy BeoLab 8000 MK II with Bass-Update from 2004 for a little bit less money ...

Is the icePOWER version better? Or the old one? Thanks for your help.

if I remember correctly the technical specs are quite the same - but I did not have a chance to listen to both of them; I thinks the main improvement was about saving energy (hello EU!)

how much do you get the 8000 off? I bought mine 50% off - so if somethings breaks tue to age I have a little amount get them repaired...we are talking about technical products which WILL fail one day so if the price reduction of the old ones is only a little off I would prefer the 8002...

2300K which is les then 50%, but the are 2004 and 1 year of something nearly the same as warranty.

What do you guys think about wall-mounting the 800X. Or is the floor stand much better?
