    BG CD 4500 for parts

    I need the command glas panel, but will by whole unit for parts.

    Beosound 3000, BL 4000, BL 8000, BG 2404,BG 5000, BG CD50, Beocord 5000, BM 901, BM 2400, BM 4000, BV S45, BV 3702. There is nothing we cannot do, but a lot of things we don't want to do!!

    Hi Soren,

    How much were you looking to spend?  I have a CD 4500 whose main output died, while the digital output still works, so I was going to try to fix it when I had time but may be willing to just sell it.

    Austin this is for a friend of mine, and I think he wants to wait to see what Leslie comes up with, but I'm waiting for his answer.

    Anyway its a "sin" to slaughter a unit thats repairable. Will post as soon as I know more

    Well, I have several 3500/4500 CD units in stock and I can sell one panel so I could use the "glassless" one to experiment for the new glasspanel I would like to make. I think Søren, that maybe you better could buy a defect unit with offcourse a mint panel as camshaft is offering. My original panel would cost you 75 euro's. Don't know what Camshafts price is.

    Edit: with "camshaft" I mean AustinEmbarrassed

    My "friend" seems to have gone sleeping or he found another solution, so forget it for now.
