    Hmm [^o)] what is it?

Can anyone shed any light on this?

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Bang-Olufsen-Labcraft-SRT-Turntable-B-O-T-T-3-Speed-/200600299092?pt=AU_Electronics_Home_Audio_Turntables&hash=item2eb4b5a654#ht_1263wt_1141

The 'SRT' and 'Labcraft' branded parts look like B&O to my uneducated eye (like a beogram 1000 - even font style of SRT) but the B&O branded cartridge looks wrong.

    ???

    Re: what is it?

That is one of several different brands, building turntables, more or less based
    on B&O's Beogram 1000.
We saw a couple of these before:

The cartridge looks like an Ortofon OM / OMB to me. Quite nice carts actually, I have a little project with one coming up :)

    They fit on standard headshells.

    Re: what is it?

Thanks for the link Martin, interesting info - it seems Labcraft was an Australian company but I can find very little information about them.  Most of these tt's seem to be located in Adelaide so may have been a South Australian based company.  Can find very little info on other forums (vinylengine, audiokarma etc).  I did find a thread suggesting they were mainly used in radio stations due to their quality??

Shame the asking price is so ridiculous, it would be interesting to have a closer look and a listen to it...
