Hello everybody.

My beloved Beocenter 2300 seem to know that I'm thinking of selling it in order to have a little money for a Beosound 5 Encore...
The CD Clamper does not move anymore, it did its latest movement this afternoon after more than 10 years of loyal service.

So are my questions :

- Can I fix that easily myself?
- How?
- If it's a tricky thing, how much would a B&O service center charge for that?

My guess is that the rubber drive band has come off the pulley or broken.

Should not cost much to repair.

You could fix yourself if you know enough to get the back off. Will your dealer sell you a band?

You will get more idea of how to get the back off, as well as the part number of the rubber band, from the Service Manual on this site.

All the manuals are available to Silver and Gold members which will cost £15 or £30 respectively.

No problem Graham... But... I have been a gold member for a quite long time, and... I've never found the Beocenter 2300 service manual on this site! So : are you sure that it is actually on Beoworld?

It's a combined 2300/2500 manual if I recall and the Ouverture, 3000 and 3200 have exactly the same construction and rubber band and those manuals are on the site for sure.
