    Hello all. I recently saw a poll that was conducted to determine the happiest people by country. Number 1 was Denmark, with the other Scandinavian countries ranked 2 through 4, and the Netherlands at number 5. Any correllation to the abundance of Beosystems?

    More likely to be due to the state provisions available. Denmark has very high taxes but also very good social provisions. Thus some of the problems associated with poverty in other countries, the UK included, are to an extent averted. Probably not a popular answer though!! Big Smile

    In all schools and goverment buildings in DK, B&O has installed secret music systems that plays not audible happy waves, the Danes even pays taxes with a smile, and every dane has a sofisticated B&O AV system in his home.Surprise

    Hi Soren, maybe that secret music system could be installed for U.S. politicians and we could move up from the number 14 spot.

    The system does not work on politicians and lawyers, it only works on people with heart and feelings.

    I am sure that if my only problem was to decide which Beosystem would better suit my needs or which Beolab would be a better match to my listening environment , or if I would be better if I discarded all recent Beos and started from scratch a retrosystem , oh! then I think I would not have been happy at all .....  because it is so difficult to decide about Beosystems/labs and even more difficult to look after a retrosystem . . . .  That situation would be the ticket to anxiety.

       So , in the end I think that it is not Bang & Olufsen that makes the Danes happy at all.

    A very good point. So many products to choose from, but never enough space for all of them.

    I think we are happy with getting to pay so high taxes, just ask Beek!!!

    I'm dropping in from Singapore airport right now. You are so right Andreas and Mika! Anyway always feel happy in Scandinavia especially Finland.
