    P45 White Speakers on Ebay

    Hi All,

Just to warn you about this advert.  I won the previous auction for these items from this guy and paid for them.  After a month and many broken promises and lies (I don't use that word lightly) I still didn't receive them.  Ebay agreed to refund me the money for them as even they felt he was making things up.  This guy is a complete nightmare and seriously should not be trusted.

Happy to give any further details if you wish.

Well you certainly gave him long enough, 5 weeks is more than enough in anyone's book... Maybe he wasn't happy with the amount of the winning bid...although me thinks he should have been....

    Cheers

I had a similar experience with a B&O related publication won on eBay. It wasn't sent. The seller eventually said he'd been in hospital (although his own feedback proved that he was bidding himself on other items at this time.) After pursuing the seller through eBay I was given a refund with the message that this was because so much time had gone by and that he would relist the item!

I'm afraid that eBay cannot deal with this kind of situation: there's a contract between the buyer and seller but if the seller thinks he didn't get enough at the auction he thinks it is OK to give a refund and then just relist. eBay should be banning sellers who don't send items and then relist.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. [W C Fields]

    Hi All,

Yes this Ebayer has stated that his father had died - which given the loss of my own father in the summer I was sympathetic about.  But as the previous poster also experienced this Ebayer was also transacting when ' if i'm 100% honest i've also lost interest in life', but obviously not Ebaying

I wasn't going to continue things until I noticed he has posted my correspondence on his advert - although my last contact he hasn't posted - a few things I guess he couldn't put a spin on.  And then I see this tonight:

'Thankfully the previous purchaser has apologised and stated that he has had a few bad experiences on eBay and tarnished me with the same brush.'

Well that certainly wasn't this previous purchaser - you have been warned.

    Good luck
