    It Sounds Heavenly

I finally got around to working on my setup. I had been using the amps on my BC9000 to drive my pentas and they sounded...fine. But, I just couldn't help feeling like something was missing. So, I decided to pull out my trusty old BeoMaster 6500 and see what happened. I ran the line out on my BC9000 into the Aux In on my BM6500 and then connected my Pentas to the 6500. I put in my favorice CD and I just COULD NOT BELIEVE my ears. If anything has ever been a 100% improvment, this is. The sounds are so much more crisp and rich, I can't fully explain it. I set the 6500 to option "0" and it sounds glorious.

Here's the question ;) Is there a way to link the 9000 to the 6500 so that they both turn on at the same time or will I forever have to turn on both seperately? The other question is which is better to control the Bass and Treble from? Both seem to be adjusting the Bass and Treble when I play around with it, but I like being able to adjust it from time to time (hard to do if I have no IR control of the 6500). Finally, how can I restore the IR control of my BM6500 when I need to?

Anyway, here's a pic of my setup, comments are welcome and advise is most appreciated.

Well, this setup is nothing that B&O ever planned for, so there is no getting around the power switching problem without some intelligent custom IR / MCL gadgetry as far as I can see...

Do the tone settings from the 9000, everything else is just too difficult in this setup.

You can reprogram the option setting (option 1 is normal standalone operation) whenever you wish, the Beomaster will receive it even in option 0.

Good looking setup! The sound of the left Penta is probably not helped by being so close to a corner, but I can see how it would be difficult to put it elsewhere.
