Do you have Foot in Mouth disease .............this Wednesday©?

Good evening Peeps hope you are all well on this first autumnal Wedthred© (18 more Saturdays before Christmas)

The man in the house behing me, (Steven) has three sons, Charlie, Sam and Frankie. I have always got their names mixed up until last year when I taught Charlie to drive. I still get t'uther two mixed up. Other pupes who know Charlie have always commented on how fantastic he is at playing Cricket.

This Sunday I trimmed the ivy on my house, and the way I dispose of the leaves, is by repeatedly filling my wheely-bin and walking diagonally across the play-park to the farmers field ditch.
On this occasion, Steven was in the play-park, plaing cricket with his middle son, and the conversation went a little like this

    "Morning Frankie"
    "Er.... it's Sam"
"Oh, sorry Sam. Are you going to be good at cricket like your big brother Charlie?"

    "Er...er...er..." said Sam looking bewildered.

At this point I looked to Steven and said "Oh it's just that all my pupils tell me how good Charlie is at cricket!"

"Yeah, he is" said Steven ",but Sam plays for Lancashire!"

How on the ball am I?!?!?
Nah then, when have you opened your gob and put yer foot in it?

Over to you, usual rules apply, and that includes motorbikes.......

    Poor me, never win owt!

Neither, I'm afraid. I took 4 Lonkero's home from Finland. Still haven't touched them... Trying to find a booze store that actually sells the stuff here. Not easy... Sad

Always make an effort to not put foot in mouth. Having said that I am amazed how certain unmentionable threads develop from time to time with otherwise sane (as far as I know) individuals repeatedly putting feet in mouths and finishing up insulting all and sundry.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure. [W C Fields]

OK, proper good evening to everyone now Laughing

I don't usually talk that much when I have a chance to shut up, so I don't suffer much of the problem that is our topic Wink
