    B&O Museum in Struer

    Dear All,

I am planning to visit Denmark next month. I am particularly interested in industry design so I want to visit among others the B&O Museum in Struer and the Jacob Jensen House. The problem is I cannot find any practical info about them - I mean opening hours, cost of the tickets etc.

Can someone help me out with this? Any link to this kind of information? Please advise.

Thanks for this! A little bit ironic but thanks :)

BTW it is not very obvious that B&O Museum in Streuer is actually within the Museum in Struer.

It is a wonderful B&O museum - Lee and I were lucky enough to be accompanied by Frede when we went there and had a superb time. Lots of early equipment but also later products. Highlights included the system made for the royal family - just beautifully made. A disappointment (relative!) for me was seeing the Beocord 5000 reel to reel was just a mock up.

In addition to the B&O, there is a display of kayaks which are again beautifully made and a couple of small galleries. The B&O section is however the highlight by a considerable margin. I enjoyed my trip there far more than the trip to the factory which showed me very little that I didn't know. Looking forward to my next trip there!

I hope it is! Have you been Peter also to the Jacob Jensen House?
