Press MENU - OPTIONS - RED - GO

AST - no. Can be upgraded.

    Hi Quader

I have no experience with a BL4 as centerspeaker. May I ask why you want your center mountet on the ceiling? The centerchanel is supposed to come from as close to the screen as possible. I am afraid the sound will sound weird.

For AST to function you need hardware version 1.5 and above and new dst software for it to work.

p.s Might be hardware 2.0 and above my documents are at home.

My DST software is not in line with the rest of the software build and i cannot see AST

    Re: BV7 40 MK3

i have now 2 speaker setups - one for the Tv and the other for the projector screen which is on a different wall, the 7.4 speaker connected to the tv is good for the tv setup -Beolabs 8000 x 4 and beolabs 4000 as surround for the projector  and i have been advised that i need a separate centre speaker for the projector setup.

    Hope this makes sense

    Makes perfect sense

And as the screen is not permanent, you do not want a bl 7-4 hanging low on the wall when the screen is up, correct?

That makes it a bit more difficult, as the sound IMO could be a bit weird. Maybe someone has a similar setup and are able to provide some answers.

    Re: BV7 40 MK3

When I had my Bv 7-40 Mk3,my projection screen came down infront of the tv and stopped just above the 7-1 speaker, which was no problem and it does the same now with the 7-55 and Bl 10 but in your case maybe a set of Bl 4000 if you could mount them above the screen some how.

Mine did have the Ast in the menu but could not use it.

I loved my Bv 7-40 Mk3 was a great set but moved on up..lol.

I think the Mk3 is a good used choice.
