Are these just totally and utterly impossible to get hold of? I have been searching endlessly to no avail! Surely someone must have one lying around! I don't want to buy a BM 6000 just to get the remote! I suppose to make a remote is a bit of a mission, well not to look like the original just so I don't have to get up and adjust the volume. Guess I've been so used to having a remote handy.

They do come up on their own from time to time. I had my 6000 Quad back from repair for about 1 day, and posted a similar request to yours, when Craig spotted one on a Buy it Now on eBay for £35. I snapped it up there and then, and it arrived a day later. I know I was lucky, but I'm hopeful you'll get lucky too! At least you can buy one from anywhere in the world, as shipping shouldn't be too much of an issue :)

Thanks Jaff....well it was quite fun in the beginning but now it seems to be getting a old......frustration is setting in....will keep everyone updated. I won't give up thats for sure!

Thanks Jon, but unfortunately that is from the 80's beomaster 6000.....I'm looking for the 70's one for the Beomaster 6000 Quad, I appreciate it though!
