    BeoComm 6000 pcb

My MK1 6000 has finally gone into permanent "no signal" and will no longer connect to my BeoCom 2 base unit.

I fear the solution is a new pcb but am concerned with two things :-

Can anyone supply a pcb? My dealer says it will cost £75+ for him to do it and it seems an easy task to do myself.

Will there be any problems with my system after the new pcb is fitted? Other parts are a BeoCom 2, another MK 1 6000 and a BeoTalk 1200.

I think the £75 may refer to the kit to upgrade a Mk1 to Mk2 which (I think) is replacing most of the phones innards, so £75 isn't unreasonable.

Thank you for the replies Simon and Keith. Seems more substantial than I thought!!

I will see if he can negotiate down a little.
