I'll throw in a matching 7000 video recorder, no idea if it works
I'll probably keep the remote as it is still being used. If you are upgrading chances are your current remote will work.
How much? dunno I'd like fifty quid, but looking at what the old crt sets fetch, (despite their pedigree or quality) this may be optimistic. Feel free to haggle. Though I can deliver in the Exeter - Bristol corridor which might make the price pretty close to £50. If you want to collect from EX5 I may be tempted to reduce that price somewhat to reduce the hairdryer treatment from the missus.
