    MMC Pick-up

    Hi

    I have one MMC2 and one MMC4 pick-up for my BG6500
    Both are in good condition but I will get rid of one.

    Which one should I keep?

    No brainer! Keep the MMC2! But I would keep both. Always worth having a spare!

    OK,
    I have to give one away. I'm selling a 5500 system so one has to go with that.
    I thought that the MMC2 was the one to keep.
    How much are the worth on the secon hand market if the are in good condition?

    The problem is knowing what sort of condition they are in. In perfect condition, £100 for a MMC4 and £200 for a MMC2. I would however always buy a new soundsmith one these days.

    Is it possible to see this or is it just by listening this can be made?

    Both, but a stereo microscope is best for looking at the stylus.

    My MMC4 was broken :( but I got a new one for 45£ (together with a broken beogram 5000) I chosen the MMC2 to keep.

    Hej Ola,

    Jag köpte en Beocenter 7007 för ett tag sedan på nätauktion . När jag fick den saknades pick-up. Troligen skall det vara en MMC 2. Har du kvar din ? Kan tänka mig at ge 200 Kr om den funkar.
