I have seen a Beovision 3 for sale (broken!) together with the castor stand for this model.

The stand has an curved aluminium cover (door?) behind which are the shelves for the DVD, satellite box or whatever which are then hidden by the cover.

My question is about this aluminium cover. Was this added later by B&O to the design of the stand or was it an extra to the standard model design?
