    Sure! Why not!?

Version 1.8.33.4.6.A.3566g.2 should be along any day now!

Well, on my German Beocom 5 I gave in

    *#1234# and OK (central button)

    on my handset.

Then I could turn the wheel to navigate through

    Software version

    Handset info

    Base info

    IPEI number

    Delete phonebook

    Mic Off beep

To exit the menu I pressed C

    My software version is 1.7

Great! Will try immediately. And I noticed the "Mic Off beep" command. First thing I'll do is turning the annoying "on mute" beeps off.

Mic off beep what does this mean?

    Re: beocom 5 sw

When you mute the microphone while in a call (for example by pushing OK button, and then select "Microphone off", or press the HOLD button when you have only one line) there is an annoying repetitive beep which makes the mute function useless. With this command you can turn off the beeps .
