Software on Beovision 7-40

I have AP SW04.00a

My main problem is that the sounds often just disappers. Which new functions do I get if I upgrade to the newest software, and what kind of problems? Will the TV respond faster? I think its kind of slow now (its MK3 by the way) Which software do people recommend?

Ok, but does it work? There has been so many complains about the software updates, so it would be nice to hear if the new one works 100%.

Yes, but I've never had any problems with the other versions like sw6.11a and sw7.05a
