    New BM Link for MAC/BEOPORT

    Hi All

I recently completed a survey for B&O and while doing so gave some feedback in relation to beoport and MAC. More specifically how BMLINK no longer worked properly since itunes version 8.1.

    I received the following reply:

However, it is correct that BeoPort was not made to support MAC
    > OS. A Swedish MAC programmer was so kind to develop BM-Link. We have
    > been in contact with the programmer regarding this issue and we have
    > sent hardware to him, so he maybe can get BeoPort compatible with
    > MAC OS X Snow Leopard. However, we have to say that there is no
    > solution at present.

A week later I then received the following reply:

We can inform you that on http://www.odlund.se/bmlink/download.html you are able to download version 1.5.3 which supports iTunes 9 and MAC OS Snow Leopard.

Is this then a new piece of software developed by Anders? Anyone used this version ?

I know Philippe Robin has been busily working away on a solution which ive been trialing but i need to upgrade to itunes 9 to get it to work properly.

    Regards

    David Coyne

    Hi David,

there are already a few threads on this, including some tests I have done here

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
