Have tried to ask in the Scandinavian forum, but with no luck.

A friend of mine is experiencing problems with the steel cover going up and down hiding the dvd-tray. I have not been at his home see the tv, but it seems that the cover is in the bottom position and won't pull up again. No small children in the house, so no one has been using force to the different components. Anyone else experienced this? Any tips on what to do?

I would say that he should call the B&O Techs! Most probably this is faulty and if it is under warranty it has to be fixed or replaced. If your friend tries to fix it then warranty is no longer valid.
