I am not that sure about its shape to be honest. I would also have preferred a matt finish to match the beo4.

looks homemade to me, and a little too fussy, and that stupid little triangle cut-out incase you forget the remote is bang & olufsen. the concept is great, one shaped piece of metal ( i agree preferbly brushed or matt) , for me id prefer clean straight lines. it may make a good doorstop but again for me its too fussy for that i think the "designer" ( for want of a better name) has only ever seen the remote from b+o jay

Me neither. The lines of the metal are quite nice, but don't go together with the straight lines of the Beo4. I also agree with Alex, the triangle thingy looks a bit silly, and yeah it should be a brushed metal not shiny. See guys, this is why we get B&O to do the job - nobody else can.

I agree - half a Kilo of chromed brass doesn't quite do it for me I'm afraid The concept is OK though. Chris.

Hello guys, I guess such a product is best seen in real life. It is so easy to be negative when you cannot really see, touch or hold the product. The stand has been on the way for 1 year. It came originally in crome, matt crome, gold and matt gold. It has been presented to a group of test-users and they all liked the shiny crome. The stand really holds the BEO4 very well, and does not scratch it at all. The shape and various means has been taken to prevent that. Believe it or not, but during a design phase of year, there is a lot of issues concidered. It is not just done overnight :o) So bare with me, when defending this very nice product. But at least I have seen and tested it IRL. I will have customer writing testimonials on our web-site. Regards, Michael

OK, then. Many B&O users still have the BEOLINK 1000 and never invested in BEO4. With a BEO5 retail price of 400 pounds I believe we will have the BEO4 around for some time. Regards, Michael

Agree with you, and as i said i like it, just think its a shame this hasnt been available for some years rather than now. Just think the boat has been missed on this one. But good luck anyway.

Although I've already stated my first impressions of the stand I have to agree that the Beo4 is likely to be around for as long as the BL1000 has been - 20 years and counting. So the market is likely to be there IMHO for this and other designs to suit differing tastes. Chris.

Wow not a bad stand at all, very elegant, and we all want our beo 4 to be seen, don't we!
I continue to natrually attempt to use the beo4 as a click wheel on it's star button, the beo5 couldn't come soon enough, everything else B&O is bringing out has control wheel of some sort an that is what i'm used to & really like about using B&O. IMHO the beo4 is in with the 9000, 3200 (ouverture) etc...

last night i thought id have a bash at how id like to see a beo4 stand, it was late , all the diy stores were closed so i could only use what i had at hand ive used a beo4 wall bracket, a beosound 3000 clamper (dont worry it was an old scratched one i replaced) , a 2.5 inch L bracket , black electrical tape, stick on rubber feet, and finally no job would be complete without a little double sided tape, jay

It's all fantastic, but my best bit is how the Beo4 is slightly elevated above the circular base! Next month's prize draw Lee?!

You must have to much time on your hands Jay I bet it would fall over if you attempted to press the TV or Radio button without supporting the base with the other hand.

i wish i had too much time on my hands, id have spot welded it. its actually very sturdy, it has flexibility of about 45 degrees without tipping , its amazing how strong double sided tape is, jay
