    Beolink 3500 / LCS9000 does not respond to Beo4

    Hi there,

I've got a problem with my old LCS 9000. I tried to connect it to my Beosystem 2 with a Mastlink cable.

Now it does play radio when I manually switch it on, but when I try to put it on cd with my Beo4 or when I try to put it on a different radio station, it does not respond. I can't change the volume either.

What's the problem? Oh, before I forget: the LCS 9000 does have the SW 2.0 update.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Happy new year!!

Maybe I'm wrong but the LCS9000 was not a link speaker? I think it was just used as now we are using the 7.1

Beolab 3500 is of course a link speaker.

    Best regards

hi and thanks for your answer! And a happy new year to you too!

The LCS9000 is actually the same speaker with the same looks as the Beolab 3500.

Also it has both a ML and MCL connection. It has had the 2.0 software update which should make it function exactly the same as the BL3500.

LCS is just an early version of the BL3500.
