I thought I had better start a new topic as this is being lost in the other listing.

the problem I am having with the BL5000 is that it won't receive "feedback" from equipment ie "no contact". I normally use the BL7000 for programming on my BS7000 and BC9500, but I have just aquired the BL5000 in a "job-lot" of other stuff!!:)

It works fine in both one-way and two-way  comms with each system for normal commands but without two-way I cannot program!

When I press the STATUS button on the BL5000 it correctly gives the source information even though I haven't used it to select the source! Does this mean it IS receiving some 2-way comms? I am slightly confused! Any suggestions why it will do this but all other 2-way comms brings "no contact"??
