There is usually not much there anyhow. I recommend the upper west side store for that.

Sorry for that, I hope you enjoyed the Tim Burton exhibition .... I am going to try to see that one some time soon.

You didn't miss much    What MoMA has in their permanent collection, vs. what they have on display at any given time, are two different things.  They rotate what's on display, but the number of items on display will be very limited.  I think the only B&O piece I've ever seen there was a 4000-series turntable.  The exception to this would be if they happen to be putting on a special exhibit - e.g. design by Jacob Jensen. 

Still a marvelous museum tho - I get a thrill every time I see Van Gogh's Starry Night, or all 32 Warhol Soup Can paintings.
