    Starting some Christmas fun early

I had occasion to place my red BL4s next to my white BV8 and I thought "gee that looks like Christmas colours" ... and so I added my green A8s to represent the smile of one of Santa's elves ...

Now I was unsure whether to call this a "competition" thread since I don't have anything to give away ... well SWMBO would say I have but I am still negotiating :-)

So here is B&O in Christmas colours ... and either count how many times B&O appears, or provide an improved vista.

(you will note from the reflection that it is warm and sunny here today!)

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

I can count B&O 4 times: A pair of A8's, the Beolab 4, the Beovision 8 and the Beolab 3 in the back....

Surely that's 5 then, as it's written on each earpiece of the A8's.

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.

Yes, but in the picture you can't actually see the Bang & Olufsen name on the Beolab 3...

The question is not about the pieces of B&O equipment ... if it had been I might have arranged for the Beo4 to be in the reflection of the BV8 :D

OK then - 4, (once on the TV, twice on the A8's and once on the BL4) or am I misunderstanding altogether?Unsure

Well I'm into minimalist decoration and a peaceful Christmas, so here's what I came up with. It's still unusually warm outside, so the BS6500 will have to take care of being snow white this time. (I'm sure most will miss one B&O! Wink )

Also, today happens to be exactly 70 years since the war started in Finland. Probably some Danish family was listening on the news that day on that other radio and wondering what will happen next.

Penta to the left? Or, white VX5000 down low?

P.S. I always liked Peter's Beo take on XMAS!

Darn, too easy - or did you crank up the brightness? I though I was clever placing one candle behind the BS to create that reflection... The white VX5000 you obviously smelled is half a meter to the left from that picture Laughing

Me too - I wouldn't even have the floor space for that picture Unsure

Laughing ...not for the Penta, but to try to see what was lower -it looks like a white VX5K! -that is apparently out of frame! Embarrassed LaughingLaughing

That box on the lower shelf is an Antec Aria PC case that houses my HDR. I photoshopped the haphazard IR receiver out, but couldn't be bothered with the rest of the cube Embarrassed

Yes, 6500 - I uploaded one pic under my files to avoid cluttering the topic. I do have a full aluminum BS7000 as well, but it is currently at the girlfriend's place along with my BL8000's as she didn't like white nor the Pentas. Aren't I nice? Laughing

perhaps I should have said "B&O" appears ?

so people are close to the "correct" answer but in case you did not know I am an evil elf Devil

However at this stage I would say Mika has trumped me with his fantastic picture of some gorgeous kit !!!

I had not seen Peter's before ... but that was from "Christmas Past" ... so I hope Mika has inspired others to "compete" Smile
