    IR Code Converter

    Hi Beofans,

I have a beomaster 5000 and recently got  an IR Code converter to use the beomaster with BL1000.

    But  it doesn't work.

Should the Link eye have a little red light on when all is connected ?

I tried to add a powersupply ( it's usually  not needed with the BM5000), but this changed nothing.

I know this is old stuff, but perhaps can someone help

    Thanks

    Zazou

Did you download the IR code convertor manual from Beoworld?

Have you set the blue switch corectly? You don't need the power supply for the 5000 so drop it.

Are the Left and right speaker sockets on the cable where they should go?

    Re: IR Code Converter

Well I got the same kit.

I just need the IR mini plug cabel with a blue LED before I can test it.

Trying it at this point for BM8000 gives nothing. No light in the Sensor either.

I'm going to my B&O dealer soon to see if they can help me with that Ir cabel.
