    Lintronic and Beo4

Hi i'm really keen to get my Bang & Olufsen remote to control my tv, dtv box and dvd recorder. Is it a possibilty (say, with Lintronic)? If so, please which product is it that i need?

I'm not clear on how it all works but the concept is extremely appealing, and their website is a little confusing to me.

    Cheers, Dave

    Dave,

You can control almost anything via their converter box, almost every device you are likely to use is already pre-define, but you can add others yourself. It comes with very good software which has a lot of facilities

Sounds like a dream! Is it just a box that you plug in to the power outlet and put in a code...? I'm eager to fathom this technology

Why not download the software and have a look at it. You can download the software HERE

Basically you buy the convertor box plug it into your PC via a USB or Comm's port, decide with the software what you want to convert from and to, then download it to the box, then start using the box in whatever location you need it in.

    Regards Keith....

    Hey mate,

I have just set mine up to control TV, STB, Playstation, Airconditioner, lights and curtains.

Is a little confusing at first i think mainly because of the terminology used.

I am in Sydney if you want to give me a call i can explain in more detail. Let me know and ill send you my number.

    Re: Lintronic and Beo4

Oh yes it is mind boggling but i just looked at the setup on their website, and now i know what i'm going to do. I'm going to order the 238 and the plasma protected (B&O lookalike) eye. I'll set the 238 as desired, and hide it away, then i'll fit the b&O eye into the front of the low line entertainment usit, it's going to look awesome, AND it's going to be very functional! :)

Cheers for the help, now all i have to do is save up 500 bucks lol

It is not a B&O look alike, it is genuine B&O.
