Here's a question I've often pondered but never asked. When switching off a Beomaster 1200 (press down key....and presumably other models with similar key switches), the initial part of the pressing causes whatever other button, eg FM, that was in use to release. However, unless you continue pressing down further, the amplifier light and circuit stays on. Usually, if someone is not familiar with the receiver, they take their finger away from the OFF button as soon as the button that was in use has disengaged, leaving the amp cicuit on. Can this do any harm to the receiver????
