    Completed installation of BeoVox1

After 5 weeks of bathroom renovation (and after 4 months since I bought them) it was time tonight to connect and try the BeoVox1's.

Guess if I was nervous? Wasn't keen on starting trouble shooting with master link junction boxes, master link cables, speaker cables, link eye cable and back covers on attic and basement plus the beolink passive eye in the bath room.

When I got back to the bathroom, the red light was on. I hesitated some seconds before pressing play.

    And YES, it worked.

Tested with buttons on link eye and with Beo4 from living room. Family had gone to sleep so I must wait until tomorrow before I test them on higher volumes. My first thought was "I must get Beo4 for the bath room!". Never satisfied, always something on the wish list.

Have been taking photos during the project, planning a photo thread in true Jandyt spirit.

Now time for bed, good night.

    Thank you!

Well I wasn't planning to have it in the shower.

But if i put in a plastic bag ... Hmm

I have one in the bathroom.

I use the original plastic bag that comes with the Beo4. Fits fine for me.

Fold the remaining plastic at the bottom to the backside and wrap just there some transparant tape.

Then it is sealed enough to make it waterresistant.

Well done Daniel - I too look forward to the photos. I'm planning a bathroom refit soon and hoping to add the same (plus squeeze a pair of speakers into the bedroom next door and wake up the the radio via a BeoTime...)

There's nothing like a successful master link effort, the anticipation raises the blood pressure.
