    Beovision 8

    Hi All.

Just got me a B8 40´. My "old"  Avant is going to my Daughters house. (so that makes two people Happy).

But some things are not so good..!Unsure

1: My Penta mkIII will not show anything on the display?..(it was okay with the Avant/Bc2300).

2 : My Beocenter 2300, open´s the glassdoors(and stay open) when i turn on the B8, Or if i turn on the 2300.Hmm

If i go in the menu, and turn off the systemmodulater then it is okay. But i can´t store this setting?(yes it is whith a built in Link modul).

I have sent mail to the store, and hope that they can help. But maybe some of you Beofans have a trick or 2..Cool

    Regards Shaun

Same problem on televisions with integrated BS3 (BV9, BV7-40), probably SW-related.
Try switching to an audio source and back - Display OK then?

    Hi All

I've also just purchased a BV8-40. Over the last few weeks we've had a lot of difficulties linking it with another BC6, beoport and MAC.

We lost all functionality with N.MUSIC and N.RADIO and link room was not working as it should.

The short version of the story is that the software on the system module of the BV8 was not compatible. The then installed an earlier version of the BV8 software and all resolved.

Now just to wait for a fix of the BM Link software for MAC!!!!!!
