How to disassamble the covering of the Beolab 4500??

    Hi everybody!!

I need help concerning Beolab 4500 speakers. I would like to remove the panels(aluminium/ plexiglas) of the speakers. Does someone know here to to disassabmle these parts??

I'd be glad for any help.

PS: How much are these panels worth today in a used condition with scratches??

The plexiglass will probably just pull off - it is held by doublesided tape which will probably have rotted!

Okay! Thank you for the advice. I will try to pull it off. Is it possible to damage the speakers by pulling to hard?

What about the aluminium panels? Are these hold by tape too??

The plexiglass is just held by two-sided tape, that won't be very hard to detach.

    The alu. parts are non-removeable!

It is easier to transfer the electronics to the new cases rather than to try removing the aluminium square!

The plexiglass will break if you drop it!

    The cases are left/right handed.

    Been there, done that!!
