As some of you may have read, earlier in the week I got my grubby little mits on a 5000 system and a couple of other bits. It was stored in a loft for a few years and was going to go in a skip until the grandson of the original owner rescued it! I bought it all untested but took the gamble that it wouldnt be too bad. Here are some pictures, Ive only given the things a quick wipe over so they will improve.

There are a couple of minor problems. The lights do not come on on the amp, and the tweeters in one speaker dont work but if you plug a speaker into the socket for the BV2500 on the back you get sound out so the crossover is ok. Could the socket be jammed so that the tweeters are cut out. There were a set of BV2500 with it all originally but they got sold before it was sent to the loft.

Am I happy, YES!!
