Hi all,
My friend's beomaster 6000 suffers from the usual old age problem of getting too hot.
I will replace and readjust the idle current trimmers for him, and I'd like to ask, before I begin, a couple of questions just to be sure:
-The idle current trimpots are R234 and R134 on page 5-1 of the service manual, right (called no-load current trimpots)?
-Anything else, besides capacitors, that should be replaced and readjusted while I'm in there (the offset output amp trimpots perhaps, see also 5-1 of service manual)?
-Are there any 'traps' I might fall in to (what's the English sentence), things that can go wrong and make trouble even worse?
Any advice, comments or good BM6000 stories are greatly appreciated!
