    Hi,

    Im considering purchasing an Beocenter 4000 unit for a very low price eg US$50 ....can anyone advise if the unit can be adapted to use an external CD player and conventional speakers. eg BOSE speakers?..

    Really appreciate any comments

    you talking of the later 4000 with twin tape units if so designed to run passive speakers also has input facilities to plug in a cd player however the whole thing is manual control ie no remote capability
