    Beocom 4 & beocom 6000

    Hi all B & O lovers. Could any1 help. I aready own beocom 6000 & was wondering if you can register a beocom4 to my main base unit? also how can you tell if your beocom 6000 is mk1 or mk2? Many Thanks leigh

    The Beocom 4 is a stand alone phone and will not work with the Beoline or PSTN base used by the 6000. The 6000 and Beocom 2 are the two system phones, soon to be joined by the Beocom 5.

    You can tell a Mark 2 6000 by the fact it has a socket for the Earset on the top - a hole with 3 brass contacts on one side and one on the other. The Mark 1 has two round plastic circles on the same place.
