Dear All:

Couple of days ago I was attempting to watch a DVD movie.  When I placed the new DVD from the local rental store, all I saw were vertical lines in black & white and then in color.  I tried another DVD same thing.  

Yesterday, I tried a different DVD I got the same lines.  Removed the DVD, turned tele off, and tried again.  The DVD played.  

Has anybody come across a similar problem?  Any ideas what it means: is the tele ready to die?  The tele is under warranty.  Could this be a malfunction to BS 3?

Any comments are greatly appreciated.
