Gents,

I've recently purchased a nice example of an 8002 record deck, but it's in need of a service/repair.

The tone arm will not lower onto the record - I believe it's quite a common problem.

Can anyone suggest a company/person that carries out repairs etc to vintage B&O decks? (I live in the North West of England)

I suggest you send a pm to the user Kingstreet or ring the branch direct  (Bang and Olufsen of King street Manchester) and ask them to put you in touch with their B&O repairers.
