A Donor kindly gave us the 4000 and matching cassette deck and speakers, but of course he kept the turntable. I'm not sure if he kept the cables also, but we don't have them now. We can't test or demonstrate the system so we can sell it at our yard sales. An Internet search of cables indicates purchasing them would cost us a substantial sum. Any advice about how to get the system running easily and cheaply would be greatly appreciated. If someone has an old set of cables they aren't using due to upgrade, etc. and wants to donate them, we can give you a 501(c)(3) tax donation receipt.
We are located halfway between Los Angeles and Bakersfield if someone is interested in purchasing the system as is. We saw a similar one on eBay for about $120 but of course it was guaranteed working. Any suggestions?
