    BV8-40 stand

    Dear all,

I'm thinking of getting the stand for my BV8-40.  Has anyone seen this set up?  I have seen the official pictures obviously, but it is difficult to get much of a sense from these.  From the pictures, it looks a little bit crude.  Certainly far less svelte than the rakish stand for the smaller models.  I can't tell what the finish is, but it almost looks like it's painted. I have been to all my local dealers, but they have all opted for the cabinet for their display models.

Anyway, I would be interested in the impressions of anyone who has seen it.  And if you happen to have photos of your own set up which you wouldn't mind sharing, that would be delightful.

    Thanks

    Michael

    Re: BV8-40 stand

Hi Michael, my beovision 8-4 comes with the stand. i find it well constructed and steady. Also great for concealing the cables within (including those belonging to my digital cable box which is mounted behind the tv).

the finish is matt silver. the base is a square. can manually rotate the tv upon the stand.

personally , no regrets. i bought the 8-40 also partly because of the stand.
