Hello all,

I have just joined this forum as a original owner of a Beomaster 5000 system.

I presently have a "unused" original B&O MMC 10E cartridge and I need a mmc4 catridge for my 5000 turntable.

Retailers of   B&O Cartriges are not willing to do a swap!

Does anyone have a need for the MMC 10E and willing to do a swap?

As the 10E is a US only model, I take it you are in the US? That rather precludes a swap with me as the customs on a cartridge is ridiculous! The 10E is the bottom of the range of this type of cartridge . I would suggest selling it on eBay and putting the amount raised towards a new Soundsmith SMMC4. From experience, sending cartridges to and from the US is not something to be entered lightly as the costs mount up.
