    Beocenter and Beosound1

    Hi everyone, i have a tech problem i hope someone can help me with. I have in my bedroom a Beocenter 6 and Beosound 1 both items are being controlled with a Beo5, the problem is i can't control either item seperately when both products are activated and i turn up the volume the volume increses on both items and, and when i goto put the Beosound 1 in standby it turns the  tv to stand by also

    Put BS1 to option 0.

    Hi i know how to do the option settings on a Beo4 which i dont have how do you put the Beosound 1 into option 0 with the Beo5

    Buy a Beo4.

    Sorry couldn't resist it, am sure a genius on here knows the answer.

    You can't put BeoSound1 in option 0 as it is not a BeoLink product and cannot be programmed.

    You could try putting BeoCenter6 into option 4. You will need to add "Link" to the list button of Beo4 if you have one. Failing that the Beo5 will need amending to send out the "Link" command when you want to operate the Beocenter6.

    If you don't send the link command, the BeoSound1 will respond and BeoCenter6 will do nothing. I think ;-)

    You can!!! But you will not be able to control it via remote of course.

    Whoops, I stand corrected, sorry.

    I don't own a BeoSound1 so have never had the need to experiment.
